3KO features 5 divisions, which provide participants with options when it comes to their desired level of competitiveness.
- Open (Mens and Womens): Designed for everybody, including true novices, this division features scalable weight options.
- Doubles Open (Mens, Womens, Mixed): Find a partner and take on the challenge as a pair, running together but splitting the workload of the exercises.
- Competitive (Mens and Womens): Recommended for athletes with intermediate training experience, this division increases the weight for an added challenge. Athletes should be able to safely lift and carry a 100lb sandbag for men and 75lb for women.
- Doubles Competitive (Mens, Womens, Mixed): Find a partner and take on the challenge as a pair, running together but splitting the workload of the exercises.
- Elite (Mens and Womens): Recommended for the experienced fitness racer and/or those with an advanced training background, this division will use the heaviest weights across all stages. Athletes should be able to safely lift and carry a 150lb sandbag for men and 100lb for women. If you are not sure if this division is right for you, start with Competitive.
